Gwenn Bonnell here with a timely
article for flu season…
Seems like everywhere you go
these days, someone is sneezing
or coughing…
So my husband and I have been
sharing the Spinal Flush with
each other to stay healthy.
If you feel a cold is coming
on, a good Spinal Flush can
stop it in its tracks!
Even if you aren't feeling "under
the weather," the Spinal
Flush will release your stress,
clear your head, and give your
immune system a boost.

Gwenn

Flush with EFT is an

FLUSH OUT THE FLU
By Gwenn Bonnell
The holidays are upon us, with
added stress, more sugar, and
less rest…a great recipe
for the flu.
Are you going to let the flu
holds you hostage this year?
Or are you ready to be more
proactive and stop the flu before
it gets hold of you with The
Spinal Flush?
This is a simple kinesiology
technique that helps move toxins
out of your system and often
gets you feeling well…literally
overnight!
My husband often comes home
after a business trip feeling
a bit worn out. The stress of
traveling, interrupted sleep,
and the toxic air in the plane
wears on his system. After a
spinal flush gets rid of all
those toxins, he'll wake up
feeling refreshed and energized.
The Spinal Flush involves massaging
"neurolymphatic points"
along the spine. Massaging these
points move toxins out of the
muscles, cleans the lymph system,
and injects fresh energy through
the whole body.
If a cold is coming on, a
good Spinal Flush can stop it
in its tracks.
As you do the Spinal Flush,
don't be concerned if you are
hitting the exact points along
the spine. There are so many
of these points right next to
each other that as you go down
the spine it's impossible to
miss them.
Pay extra attention to points
that are sore by spending a
few extra seconds massaging
them. Even if the tenderness
doesn't immediately disappear,
you are clearing the congestion.
It's definitely delicious to
have a partner share the Spinal
Flush with you. I'll also tell
you how to do this for yourself.
THE SPINAL FLUSH
The person receiving the flush
needs to keep their body in
a stable position. Have them
either lie face down, or stand
a few feet away from a wall,
placing their palms on the wall
and leaning forward into it
for support.
1. Starting at the neck and
moving down to the bottom of
the spine, massage the points
down both sides of the spine
using your thumbs or middle
fingers and applying body weight
to get strong pressure. Massage
each point for at least 5 seconds
(more if sore).
2. Then go down the center
of the spine, and massage in
the space between each vertebra.
Again, start at the neck and
move down to the sacrum, and
stay at each point at least
5 seconds. Just move the skin
up and down or in a circular
motion with strong pressure.
3. Repeat the first massage,
starting at the neck and massaging
the points down the sides of
the spine.
4. Finish by sweeping the energies
down their body. With open hands
place your palms a few inches
above their shoulders, and then
sweep the energy all the way
down their back, their legs
and off their feet. Do this
sweep two or three times.
THE SOLO SPINAL FLUSH
Although it's more difficult,
you can massage the points on
your back that you can reach.
1. Reach over your shoulders,
starting at the neck, and massage
the points on the side of your
spine as far down your back
as comfortable. If you find
any points that are tender,
work these for a few more seconds.
2. Then reach around your
waist, as high up in the center
of your back as comfortable,
and massage the points on either
side of your spine. Spend about
5 seconds (or more if the point
is tender) on each point as
you travel down the spine
to the tailbone.
3. Begin again, reaching over
your shoulders, and massage
the notch between each vertebra.
Begin at your neck, down to
the center of your back.
4. Then reach around your waist
as high up in the center of
your back as possible and continue
massaging the space between
each vertebra until you finish
at the tailbone.
The spinal flush has an added
benefit: it immediately reduces
built-up stress and takes the
edge off emotional overreactions.
It's a great holiday gift for
yourself, and
especially wonderful to share
with a loved one :-)
Love & light,
Gwenn
